About Our Panelists

Ami Campbell ’92 is the Chief Growth Officer at Josselyn, a non-profit Community Mental Health Center with nine locations serving over 6,700 clients. She leads the organization’s fundraising, marketing, and human resources efforts. 

Ami graduated in 1992 from Mount Holyoke with a double major in English and Economics, and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1997.  She champions generosity in her TEDx talk and co-authored book Love Let Go: Radical Generosity for the Real World, and her work has appeared in RELEVANT and The Christian Century magazines, Philanthropy Daily, and the Harvard Business School Alumni Bulletin. She and her husband have two daughters, one of whom graduated in 2021 from MHC. 


Aimée Eubanks Davis ’95 is the founder and CEO of Braven, which works to ensure underrepresented college students develop the skills, confidence, experiences, and networks to get strong first jobs after graduation. She founded Braven based on her deep belief that our next generation of leaders will emerge from everywhere.

Aimée spent the majority of her career at Teach For America, where she held various senior leadership roles, including leading the organization’s groundbreaking work around its human capital and diversity efforts. Earlier in her career, Aimée taught sixth grade, led the Breakthrough/Summerbridge New Orleans site, and worked for the national organization. She is a recipient of the 2023 McNulty Award, The 1954 Project’s 2021 Luminary Awards, a 2020 Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow, 2019 Obama Foundation Fellow, Pahara-Aspen fellow, a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, a Braddock Scholar, a Draper Richards Foundation Entrepreneur, and a Camelback Ventures Fellow. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Aimée resides in Chicago with her husband and three children.


Amy Cavanaugh ’06 is the dining editor at Chicago magazine and co-founder and editor of American Weekender. Originally from Holyoke, Massachusetts, she moved to Chicago in 2010 after earning an MA in English at the University of Maryland.

Amy covers food, drink, and travel and has written for publications including Food & WineCondé Nast TravelerThe Washington PostChicago Tribune, and others. She lives in Buena Park.


Umama Zillur ’18 is the founder and director of Kotha, a feminist organization that tackles the root causes of gender-based violence in Bangladesh. Under Kotha, Umama launched Bangladesh’s first fully youth-led comprehensive sexuality education program, Kotha at School, to change mindsets and model behavior for a society free of gender-based violence.

Umama is a founding member of the Feminists Across Generations Alliance, which builds bridges between leading women’s rights champions and emerging activists in Bangladesh. Through the Alliance, Umama works to connect the power of mass demonstrations and protests to policy advocacy and social change. She has been quoted and appeared in ABC News, The Telegraph, CBS News, and HuffPost India.

Umama was a 2022 Obama Foundation Scholar. She holds an MPP from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, a BA in Economics from Mount Holyoke College, and she studied abroad at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
